A section of the Trans-Canada Highway that was closed earlier this week due to construction has reopened.
The Manitoba government has confirmed Highway 1 west of PR 334 in Headingley reopened to traffic this morning (June 27) after it was closed on Monday.
The closure was due to the reconstruction of the highway, which included improvements to the roads and the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railway line.
Detours were in place for vehicles travelling both east and westbound on the Trans-Canada.
