Brandon Tourism recently launched the free ‘Brandon Adventure Pass’, a new incentive program that aims to help promote the city.
A Brandon Tourism media release says “With so many businesses included within the passport, it showcases the best of the city in an easy, mobile-friendly way. Conversations regarding this project began months ago and it led Brandon Tourism to reach out to a well-known technology company in the travel space. Bandwango technology is designed to support experiences created by destinations and marketed to visitors and locals.
“This is a great way to get visitors engaged and connected to our city,” said Lanny Stewart, Director of Marketing and Communications for Brandon Tourism. “We’re excited to partner with Bandwango on this project and believe this pass will help in showcasing what our city has to offer.”
People can head to Brandon Tourism | Brandon, Manitoba | Brandon Brings You Back and sign up for the pass via the dedicated mobile passport landing page, located under the Plan section of the main menu. From there, folks can sign up for their pass by providing their name, postal code, e-mail address and mobile phone number. A link is then sent to their mobile phone, which opens the passport and directs the user
to add the button icon to their home screen, where they can access it any time.
After accessing the pass, folks will then notice a lengthy list of great places to check-in all over the city. The goal: simply check-in to a location and receive points. The more points you receive, the more eligible you are to win prizes. There’s also a plethora of great deals and discounts to redeem as well. Each pass requires a wifi or cellular data connection to check-in at each location.”
