Arrest Warrant
On July 22nd at 1:05pm Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 600 block of Princess Avenue. A 25-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was held for court on July 23rd, 2024.
Theft of Motor Vehicle
On July 22nd at 9:25 pm Police received a report of a stolen truck from a business in the 1500 block of 18th Street. The truck was described as a 2018 Grey dodge ram. On July 23rd at 08:26am officers located the vehicle parked with a smashed window in the 400 block of 4th street. Police are continuing the investigation. Theft Under $5000 and Attempt Theft of Motor Vehicle
On July 23rd at 00:14 am Police received a report of two suspicious people in the back lane in the 600 block of 16th Street. The two people had fled but officers located a cart full of tools belonging to a business in the 700 block of 17th Street. Investigation revealed a vehicle parked at the business had the window smashed and a damaged ignition. The tools had been in the vehicle. Police later received a call of an intoxicated male in the 500 block of 16th Street. A 27-year-old male was arrested, and he was also identified via video surveillance from the business as allegedly being responsible for the damage to the truck and the theft of the tools. He will be released once sober for court on October 1st, 2024.
