The Brandon Police Service (BPS) is warning about individuals going door-to-door in the city posing as businesses offering services like driveway paving and garage pads.
BPS says “While Brandon is home to many fantastic and reputable businesses ready to assist you, it’s essential to verify the legitimacy of any new company you are considering and haven’t heard of prior to making decisions or payments.
If you’re approached by a business and have any doubts about their legitimacy, please reach out to the City of Brandon Business Licensing Department at 204-729-2186. They can confirm whether the business is licensed and operating legally in our city.”
