On September 16th, at approximately 9:05 am, Virden RCMP were called to a collision between an SUV and a farm tractor on Highway 21, just south of Provincial Road 543, in the RM of Sifton.
Police say an SUV, stolen from Winnipeg, was travelling southbound on Highway 21, when it veered over the center line and collided head-on with a northbound farm tractor.
The 31-year-old male driver of the southbound SUV, from Stonewall, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 21-year-old male driver of the farm tractor was not physically injured.
Virden RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
