The City of Brandon has begun construction of a lift station at 34th Street and Patricia Avenue. They say earthworks crews have been on site building a gravel pad, and foundation work is set to begin next week.
The City says it determined “the southwest area will be a focus for residential and commercial growth, and new wastewater infrastructure is required to support continued development.”

The force main contract has also been awarded, with construction set to begin in November.
