A Calgary man faces charges of possession of proceeds of crime following an RCMP traffic stop on Highway 1 in the RM of North Cypress-Langford.
According to police, officers with the RCMP Roving Traffic unit conducted a traffic stop at 5:10 PM on October 24. This traffic stop, near Road 84W, led to the arrest of a 39-year-old man.
Police said when they searched the vehicle, they seized a large sum of a large sum of Canadian currency. The 39-year-old was released with a court date set for February of 13, 2025, in Brandon, where he will face a charge of Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000.
