The 35th annual ‘Big One’ Arts & Crafts Sale, held recently over two weekends at Brandon’s Keystone Centre, raised a total of 5462.60 for the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation.
The money was raised partly from the proceeds of door admissions, and will go towards CancerCare Manitoba’s efforts in Brandon and Westman. Over a total of 25 years, Brandon’s ‘Big One’ sale has made donations in the amount of $ 102,745.00.
The annual arts and crafts event typically attracts 175 vendors each weekend, and gives shoppers a great opportunity to support local artisans and kick-off their holiday shopping. This year, organizers say they had over 4,600 visitors the first weekend alone.
