“The Innovation Showcase is back for its sixth year and we couldn’t keep it to just 32 entries, so this year we have a field of 34 innovations vying for the top spot in each of our seven categories”, stated Dwayne Leslie, Manitoba Ag Days Innovation Showcase Committee Chair.
The seven categories include: Ag Technology, Agribusiness Services, Agricultural Equipment, Agronomics, Animal and Livestock, Farm Built Solutions and Farm Safety.
The Innovation Showcase highlights products and services across a wide range of applications, and helps both the contenders and the producers bridge from innovative ideas to on-farm adoption. Leslie went on to say “Many companies have gotten their start at our show and we couldn’t be happier to help. This showcase provides an opportunity for innovators to get direct feedback from producers, and the producers also benefit because they get to ask questions to see how an innovation could fit in their operation.”
The Innovation Showcase Committee will visit with each entrant before determining the winner in each category. Winners will be announced live at the show on Wednesday, January 22, at 10am. The Manitoba Ag Days show is an annual three-day exposition of agriculture production expertise, technology and equipment that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Canada and the United States of America held at the Keystone Centre in Brandon Manitoba.
The 2025 show dates are Tuesday, January 21 – Thursday, January 23.
