-Two games are scheduled for Westoba Place tonight – the Brandon Wheat Kings play the Saskatoon Blades followed by the NHL Legends game.
-The Brandon AAA U18 Wheat Kings opened up their best-of-5 semi-final series against the Southwest Cougars with a 5-2 win. Game 2 goes Thursday evening in Souris. In the other series, the Winnipeg Wild got by the Winnipeg Bruins 3-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.
-The Winnipeg Jets edged the New York Rangers 2-1 last night. The Jets play again Friday when they host the Dallas Stars.
-In the Professional Women’s Hockey League – Ottawa downed Minnesota 3-2.
