-The Brandon Wheat Kings fell 3-1 to the Saskatoon Blades last night. Brandon plays its final regular season home game on Friday against the Regina Pats.
-In the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League – the Winnipeg Wild host the Winnipeg Bruins in the final game of their Best-of-5 semi-final series. The winner will meet the Brandon AAA U18 Wheat Kings for Game One of the championship final beginning Saturday at J&G Homes Arena.
-In the NHL – the Winnipeg Jets visit the Edmonton Oilers tonight.
-It was Toronto over New York 2-1 last night in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
-At the Women’s World Curling Championship in South Korea – Canada’s Rachel Homan is 7-and-2 and in a three-way tie for second place with South Korea and Sweden. Switzwerland is first at 8-and-1. The top six teams in the 13-team field will advance to the weekend playoffs.
