The Manitoba government will host a Rally for Canada, Premier Wab Kinew announced today.
“At a time when Manitobans and Canadians are united, we want to invite every Manitoban to join us at the people’s building to celebrate our beautiful province and our great nation,” said Kinew. “Bring your kids, your family and your friends to show their Manitoban and Canadian pride and send a message – we will never be the 51st state.”
The Rally for Canada will be held Sunday, April 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Legislative Building. It will include activities for kids and local performers including Fred Penner. Food trucks will be on site.
The event is free and kid-friendly, and all are welcome, noted the premier.
