IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On June 3rd at 12:46PM BPS members were called to Princess Park for reports of a highly intoxicated female. Upon arrival, the 24-year-old female was located. Due to her level of intoxication, she was medically cleared and held in detention cells until sober.
Theft Under $5000
On June 3rd at 3:19PM an employee of a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported they have a woman in their custody for theft of approximately $150 worth of merchandise. Police attended and arrested the 36-year-old female. She was transported to BPS for processing and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of July 24th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On June 3rd at 4:33PM Police attended a residence in the 600 block of 15th Street and arrested a 48-year-old male on the strength of a BPS Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest (Breach of Release Order X2). The male was held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning on June 4th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On June 3rd at 5:16PM BPS members were called to a hotel in the 1100 block of 18th Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival the male with the complaint turned out to have Warrants for his Arrest through the RCMP. The male was arrested and held for court in the morning on June 4th, 2025.
IPDA
On June 4th at 2:11AM BPS members were called to the 400 block of 12th Street for someone screaming outside of a building. Police located the highly intoxicated 63-year-old male. With no one to turn him over to, the male was held in BPS detention cells as he was in no condition to care for himself.
