-The Toronto Blue Jays won their 10th game-in-a-row last night, 6-1 over the Chicago White Sox. It’s the Jays longest win streak since they went 11 straight in 2015.
-In the Southwest Baseball League Playoffs – Boissevain edged Wawanesa 3-2 in Game 1 of their Best-of-3 series. Oak River topped Hamiota 9-3 to lead their series 1-0 – and Deloraine downed the Brandon Cardinals 3-1 to tie their series at 1-1.
