-The Cartwright Twins from the Border Senior Baseball League won the Senior Western Canadians beating the West Winnipeg A’s 4-2 in the final.
-Scottie Scheffler won the BMW Championship on Sunday for his fifth PGA Tour title of the year.
-The United States won the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup over the weekend defeating Sweden 5-3 in the final. Canada secured the bronze medal beating Finland 3-0.
