“Knives Out” fans got the crossover they never saw coming. Thanks to Netflix partnering with “Sesame Street,” they dropped the “Forks Out” clip with Beignet Blanc, a muppet version of the world’s best detective, Benoit Blanc, who declares, “I have arrived to this street of Sesame on a sunny day turned cloudy.”
This time, the case is Cookie Monster’s missing triple-berry pie, and the suspect list is as colorful as the Muppet crew itself. With nods to classic whodunits sprinkled throughout, Beignet Blanc shows off sleuthing skills that would make his human counterpart, played by Daniel Craig, proud.
