Miss Piggy is weighing in on her status with Sabrina Carpenter after the GRAMMY winning singer jokingly “arrested” her during her final “Short n’ Sweet Tour” stop, admitting in a “TV Insider” interview that reconciliation is still unclear.
Asked whether Carpenter’s appearance on “The Muppet Show’s” Disney+ special meant they’d “made up,” the Muppet diva replied, “Well, I was at the concert after we filmed the show, so I guess my answer is: I’m not sure.”
She also downplayed the incident, adding, “I mean, you know, when she arrested me, it wasn’t a bad thing, you understand? It was a sign of respect.”
Carpenter leaned into the bit back in November at her Los Angeles concert, telling the Muppet, “You’re so funny, Miss Piggy, wow! You’re like the only celebrity I get nervous to be around. I’m getting really flustered.”
