IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On February 9th at 12:48 pm police were called to the 600 block of Princess Avenue regarding an intoxicated male standing in the middle of the street, blocking traffic. The 31-year-old male was arrested and held in BPS detention cells until sober and able to care for himself.

Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours, two individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants. A 45-year-old male was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in court on April 20, 2026. A 28-year-old female was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of February 10th, 2026.

Assault
On February 9th at approximately 6:30 p.m., police were called to a residence in the 1500 block of 26th Street. A 29-year-old female attended the residence of her 42-year-old ex-partner and was refused entry. She subsequently assaulted the male by striking him with her fist’s multiple times, at one point with keys in her hand. The male sustained visible cuts to the back of his head. EMS not required. The female was later located by police at her residence. She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on April 20th, 2026.
