IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On February 16th at approximately 3:14 p.m., officers conducted a persons check in the 000 block of 11th Street after observing a 28-year-old female who was found to be highly intoxicated. She was subsequently lodged in detention cells at the Brandon Police Service (BPS) to ensure her safety and will be released once sober.
Breach of Undertaking
On February 16th at approximately 6:00 p.m. police conducted a vehicle stop in the 500 block of 2nd Street resulting in a 45-year-old male noted to be in the vehicle contrary to a No Contact Order with another occupant of the vehicle. The male was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a future court date of April 30th, 2026.
Arrest Warrant
On February 16th at approximately 10:00 p.m., while conducting a walkthrough of a business in the 100 block of 5th Street, officers identified a 33-year-old female who was the subject of an endorsed Warrant for Arrest. She was taken into custody and later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of March 19, 2026.
