Rosé and Bruno Mars have landed IFPI’s biggest global single of the year, as “APT.” was officially crowned 2025’s top-selling track after amassing 2.06-billion units worldwide.
According to IFPI, the song made history as the first number one featuring non-English lyrics and the first global single chart winner led by artists from outside North America and Europe.
The coordinated international rollout helped power the single to a 45-week run on the Hot 100, where it peaked at number three, marking Mars’ first IFPI global single chart number one since “Just The Way You Are” in 2011.
The competitive year also saw “Golden” by HUNTR/X finish as runner-up.
