Brandon, MB, February 26, 2026 – Career Connections Inc. (CCI) is pleased to announce our appointment as the new MentorAbility Hub for Manitoba, contributing to the province’s commitment to inclusive employment and meaningful workforce participation for people experiencing disability.
MentorAbility is a national initiative coordinated by the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE) that promotes short-term (one hour to one day), meaningful mentoring experiences, and connects people experiencing disability with employers. The initiative is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities.
As the MentorAbility Manitoba Hub, Career Connections Inc. will serve as the central coordinating organization in our province, supporting employers, job seekers, community partners, and service providers to create inclusive mentorship and employment pathways across the province.
In its role as a MentorAbility Hub, CCI will:
Coordinate MentorAbility activities throughout Manitoba.
Support employers in creating inclusive mentoring and work-experience opportunities.
Create partnerships and support community organizations and service providers who are being engaged in the initiative.
Facilitate connections between job seekers experiencing disability and Manitoba workplaces.
Promote best practices in disability inclusion and employment equity.
