Brandon Police News Release – March 16th, 2026
Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Three of the four were held for court in the morning while one was released via Appearance Notice with a future court date.
Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. They were held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober/calm.
Stolen Vehicle
On March 15, 2026, at approximately 7:40 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle theft from outside a business in the 700 block of 17th Street.
The vehicle had been left running with the key inside while the driver briefly entered the business. The vehicle was reported to have a full tank of fuel at the time it was stolen.
The stolen vehicle is described as a brown four-door Buick Enclave bearing Manitoba license plate GWL 780.
The vehicle has not yet been located. Members of the public who see the vehicle are asked to contact police at 204-729-2345.
Failure to Comply Undertaking x3
On March 15th at approximately 8:59 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Rosser Avenue following a report that a 24-year-old female, who was bound by court-ordered conditions not to attend the address, was attempting to kick down the door.
Police attended the location and located the female, who remained on scene. The female was found to be in breach of multiple conditions, including:
A no-contact condition,
A curfew condition, and
A condition prohibiting her from attending the address.
The female was placed under arrest and transported to BPS detention cells. She was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of March 16th, 2026.
