If you’re looking to refresh your home with more than spring cleaning this season, Pinterest has some ideas. Everyone’s collective mood board has just come out with their 2026 Spring Trends Report, revealing what’s hot in home design, based on search data from the platform’s more than 600-million monthly users.
From colors to cabinets, these are the top home design trends for spring, according to Pinterest.

- Say goodbye to all-white kitchens – People are ditching the “all-white everything era” and making room for bold color. Searches for “aubergine kitchen” were up a whopping 495% and “vintage pink kitchen” searches have soared 275%. Sage green and cream (410%) and moody blue (325%) are popular color schemes and “French kitchen aesthetic” searches spiked 275%.
- Nature-forward materials – Beyond bringing in more color, Pinterest users also want more natural materials for their kitchens. Interest in “white oak and black kitchens” has spiked 625%, and searches for “Calacatta Viola marble kitchens” are up 260%.
- Micro renovations – Homeowners are turning to smaller upgrades to refresh their spaces this season. Searches for “painted island kitchen” jumped 95%, and those for “kitchen lighting plan” rose 165%, and “kitchen makeover ideas” climbed 170%.
- Vintage vibes – A nostalgic, vintage feel is still popular with Pinterest users, with interest in “cozy vintage kitchen” up 165%. Searches for “grandma core kitchen” have climbed 545% and those for “dark cottagecore kitchen” rose 915%.
- Reading nooks – Cozy spaces are also having a moment this spring. Pinterest searches for “comfy reading chair small spaces” have increased 455%, “reading nook ideas” are up 245%, and “closet reading nook for adults” rose 55%.
