The Brandon Wheat Kings are well represented on NHL Central Scouting’s final ranking of the 2025-26 season. Gio Pantelas, Cam Allard, and Joby Baumuller all made the final skaters’ ranking, while Filip Ruzicka is the fourth ranked goaltender. All four have risen in the rankings from the mid-term.
The NHL’s regular season ends tonight and while the playoff teams are all set, the final playoff matchups remain to be determined. Los Angeles and Utah could still flip places in the Wildcard order. Coincidentally, every game is in the Western Conference.

The Canadian Hockey League continues to unveil their top-50 players of the last 50 years, and the Brandon Wheat Kings continue to be represented on the list. Former Wheat King Ray Ferraro was named the 33rd best player in Canadian junior hockey of the past 50 years. Ferraro scored 108 goals in a single season while with the Wheat Kings, setting a record that still stands. He would go on to play 18 seasons in the NHL.
