Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” is arriving in theaters on July 17th, and major chains are rolling out exclusive collectibles tied to the film. The movie is already generating buzz for its Trojan Horse popcorn bucket, which will be available at Regal, AMC, and Cinemark when the film hits theaters. The popcorn, unsurprisingly, is hidden away inside the horse. Designed to resemble the legendary wooden horse from the Trojan War, the collectible is expected to be the centerpiece of the movie’s merchandise lineup. Beyond the Trojan Horse, AMC is giving IMAX attendees a special 1.43:1 aspect ratio poster, and Cinemark will offer a souvenir tub, cup, and an exclusive Greek helmet pin for select members. A limited-edition IMAX Film Camera Popcorn Bucket has already sold out online and is being restocked ahead of its in-theater release.
