Spider-Man: Brand New Day is officially a record-breaker. The Tom Holland-led blockbuster pulled in an incredible $360 million domestically during its opening weekend, narrowly passing Avengers: Endgame to claim the biggest domestic debut in movie history.
The film also made a massive $932 million worldwide opening, making it the second-largest global launch ever, behind only Endgame.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie follows Peter Parker as he navigates a world that no longer remembers who he is. With each Spider-Man film earning more than the last, Brand New Day is expected to keep climbing, with early projections suggesting it could eventually surpass $2 billion worldwide.
