After “lurking, watching, decoding and obsessing” over the looks that will be haunting our doorsteps for the holiday, the largest Halloween retailer in the country has just dropped its 2026 costume trend report.

The Hyped and The Hot:
- Varsity Swag and Campus Crushes – Officially licensed jerseys, varsity jackets and looks inspired by the popular series “Off Campus”
- Toy Domination – Woody, Buzz, Slinky Dog and other characters from “Toy Story”
- “K-Pop Demon Hunters” – Still a fan favorite, costumes inspired by these supernatural heroes will be a top trend once again.
- Superhero Takeover – Thanks to “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and Power Rangers, we’ll be seeing high-tech suits, secret identity masks and dramatic capes on kids, adults, and even pets.
- Certified “It Girl” – Think high glam Y2K icons
Myth, Lore & High Fantasy:
- Mythological Characters – Inspired by “The Odyssey,” we’ll be seeing Greek armor, flowing cloaks and epic accessories.
- Untamed Fantasy – Costumes will bring fantasy from the pages to the streets, with costumes ranging from fierce dragons to Dungeon Crawler Carl.
Chaos, Horror & Pixelated Madness:
- Hardcore Horror – From the Async hazmat suit in “Backrooms” to old-school slashers like Billy the Puppet from “Saw,” pure terror is always in style.
- Leveled-Up Looks – Costumes inspired by video games from Fortnite to Halo will let fans suit up as their favorite legendary characters.
- Funny Never Fails – Enormous inflatables, massive mascot heads and meme-worthy novelty fits make dressing up easy.
