The Western Canadian Elite Volleyball Championships came to a close Sunday in Edmonton.
Manitoba White, which included Seth Friesen of Brandon and Carberry’s Josh McMillan, defeated B.C. Red in the under-17 boys’ third-place match.
On the under-16 girls’ side, Manitoba Gold got past Manitoba White in the fifth-place match.
Shailyn Boschman of MacGregor, Kaylynn Collier of Brandon, Kelsey Jordan of Carberry and Russell’s Karissa Zimmer played with the Manitoba Gold Team.
Manitoba White had the Virden pair of Allie Cantello and Carmen Ross on the roster.
