Prairie Mountain Health will be holding a COVID vaccine walk in clinic on Thursday, February 10th from 11 am to 6 pm at the Shoppers Mall Brandon near Smitty’s. This clinic is for everyone aged 5-years-old and up and for first, second and third doses if eligible.
Due to a shortage of the Pfizer vaccine, PMH COVID vaccine clinics will be offering the Moderna vaccine for people age 30 years and up for their 1st, 2nd or 3rd dose. Ages 12 to 29 will receive the Pfizer vaccine.
First dose eligibility:
Pfizer: Age 5 & up | Moderna vaccine age 18 years and up
Second-dose eligibility:
Ages 5-11 years old – 8 weeks after 1st dose or a minimum of 21 days for children living in First Nations Communities.
Third-dose eligibility:
18 years and up: 6 months after your 2nd dose. EXCEPTION: Anyone age 50 or older or 18 or older who live in a First Nations Community who received their second dose 5 months ago can now receive their third dose.
