At 8:52 am, Brandon police responded to a robbery on 9th Street. A City of Brandon employee had been collecting money from parking meters when he was attacked and a quantity of money was taken. Police located a suspect a short time later and he was arrested without incident. A 29-year-old man was held in custody for court.

At 2:37 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Victoria Avenue. Police say the 55-year-old male driver from Split Lake, Manitoba, was found to have a warrant from the Thompson RCMP for disobeying court orders. He was arrested and released with a court date of July 6th, 2022, in Split Lake, MB.

At 2:24 pm, Brandon police arrested a 32-year-old man on Cornell Bay for allegedly breaching his probation. They say the suspect had attended a residence and communicated with a person whom he was to not contact. He was held in custody for court.

At 9:17 am, police received a report from Brandon Correctional Centre of an alleged assault that had occurred the night prior between two inmates. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged for aggravated assault. He will appear in court today.

At 7:25 pm, Brandon police responded to a complaint of domestic assault on McDonald Avenue. An 18-year-old man was arrested for alleged assault and lodged for court in the morning. The female victim did not require medical attention.
