On February 5th, 2023 Brandon police attended to an address in the 1600 block of 20th Street to arrest a male wanted on an outstanding warrant. A 53 year old man was arrested and released on an appearance notice to appear in court February 20, 2023.

A 42 year old man was arrested and released on an appearance notice with a court date of April 6th, 2023.

On February 5th, 2023 police were called to a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue after staff reported a known shoplifter. A check of police records confirmed that the female is pending charge for previous thefts from the business and subsequently bound by a court order to not attend the location. A 32 year old woman was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court February 6th, 2023.

On February 5th, 2023 Brandon police were called to the 0 hundred block of 7th Street as a citizen was concerned for the wellbeing of an intoxicated female. Police located the subject, whereby she was verified to be intoxicated and threatening self-harm. A 42 year old woman was arrested and lodged at BPS. Once sober, the female will be provided with access to mental health services.

On February 5th, 2023 police were called to the 0 hundred block of 10th street for a male acting erratically. The subject was found to be intoxicated by meth and was lodged at BPS until sober.

On February 6th, 2023 Brandon police conducted a pedestrian stop with a female in the 500 block of 15th street. A check of police records showed an outstanding warrant of arrest. A search incident to arrest resulted in locating 6 identifications which had been previously reported stolen. In addition, the female is bound by a court order to not possess any identification in another individual’s name. The 39 year old woman has been lodged at BPS to appear for court February 6th, 2023 for the charges of FTC Release Order X6 and Possession of Stolen Property.
