On February 12, 2023, at approximately 4:45 am, Brandon police received a report of a robbery at a business in the 700 block of 10th Street. A male and female entered the business and covered their faces with bandanas. The suspects threw a glass jar at the employee and struck him in the head. The suspects then fled from the store without paying for approximately $20 worth of merchandise. Police were able to identify the suspects through video surveillance.

On February 20, 2023, police executed a Feeney warrant at a residence in the 400 block of 10th Street. During the warrant, police located the male and female suspects from the robbery. As a result, a 22-year-old female and a 34-year-old male were arrested for Robbery and Disguise with Intent. The male was also wanted on a Canada wide warrant for Escape Lawful Custody. The male and female were both lodged at the Brandon Police Service and are scheduled to appear in court today. Upon further investigation, it was learned that the 34-year-old male was also a suspect from an assault that had occurred January 18, 2023, at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. As a result, he was also arrested for Assault. He remains in custody and will appear in court today.

On February 20, 2023, Brandon police were at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue for an unrelated matter when a 26-year-old male decided to walk past them with stolen merchandise. The male suspect was arrested for Theft under $5,000. He was later released on an Undertaking and he is scheduled to appear in court in April.

On February 20, 2023, police received a report of multiple females fighting at an event in the 1100 block of 18th Street. Members attended and spoke with the two 14-year old victims who advised they were assaulted by two other females. Police were able to locate the two suspects in the area. A 14-year-old female and a 15-year-old female were arrested for Assault. They were both released on Undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court in April.

On February 21, 2023, a taxi attended the Brandon Police Service with a highly intoxicated 30-year-old female. Police were unable to find anyone to care for the female. As a result, she was lodged at the Brandon Police Service until sober to ensure her safety.

On February 20, 2023, police located and arrested a 38-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Sexual Assault. The male was later released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in May.
On February 20, 2023, police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Cornwallis Crescent. A 35-year-old male passenger was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear in Court. As a result, he was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
On February 20, 2023, police located and arrested a 26-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Assault Cause Bodily Harm. He was lodged at the Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
