On the morning of 2023-04-02, Brandon police conducted a warrant check for a male at a residence in the 200 block of 8th Street. A 31-year-old male was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-04-03.

On the evening of 2023-04-02, police attended to a residence in the 800 block of 2nd Street after receiving a report that a male had attended the location over a property dispute, and allegedly sprayed the occupants with a type of pepper spray. A 20-year-old male was later arrested by police at a secondary location. A check of police records further showed the suspect to be bound by a court-imposed condition to abide by a daily curfew. The male has been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-04-03 for the charges of Forcible Entry, Assault with a Weapon X2, Possession of a Weapon, and Breach of Release Order.

On the afternoon of 2023-04-02, Brandon police attended to a residence in the 800 block of Frederick Street after receiving a report of an assault. Police say a 34-year-old man allegedly assaulted his teenage son. A check of police records further showed the suspect to be bound by a court-imposed condition to not attend the City of Brandon. The male has been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2023-04-03 for the charges of Assault and Breach of Release Order.
