The Economic Developers Association of Manitoba (EDAM) will be holding their 7th Annual Manitoba Economic Development Awards on May 11, 2023. These awards recognize excellence in Economic Development across the province of Manitoba.
Four categories are represented each year: Rising Star, Project of the Year (Under $100,000), Project of the Year (Over $100,000), and Award of Distinction. This year there are 7 outstanding nominations within the four categories.
The awards will be presented in Brandon during the EDAM annual forum on May 10-12. All nominees will receive one complimentary gala ticket. We encourage family, friends, and co-workers to come and celebrate. Additional gala tickets can be purchased by emailing Lee Hurton at edammanitoba@gmail.com

Economic Development Project of the Year (Under $100,000):

• The Russell Thrift Shop, Russell, MB
Project of the Year (Over $100,000):
• Hamiota 55+ Senior Centre and R Store Community Co-op Inc, Hamiota, MB
• Fibre Optic to Households, Municipality of Brenda-Waskada
Award of Distinction
• Tammy Dziadek, General Manager, Community Futures East Interlake Inc.
