-The Winnipeg Jets won both of their weekend games – 5-2 over the Sabres on Sunday – and 5-3 over the Hurricanes on Saturday. With the wins, the Jets have reclaimed first place in the NHL Central Division with 83 points. Up next – Winnipeg hosts Seattle on Tuesday.
-The Brandon Wheat Kings are back in action tomorrow in Medicine Hat. On Saturday – the Wheat Kings were shutout 4-0 by the Saskatoon Blades.
-The Brandon AAA U18 Wheat Kings lead their best-of-five quarterfinal playoff series 2-0 after a 7-0 win over the East-man Selects on Sunday. Game 3 goes Tuesday night at J&G Homes Arena.
-and Manitoba’s Reid Carruthers is 3-and-0 heading into Day 4 of the Brier in Regina. Matt Dunstone is 1-and-1.
