Manitoba Municipal and Northern Relations reminds all Manitobans that Daylight Time will start in the province early on March 10th when clocks move forward one hour.
Under the Official Time Act, Daylight Time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November with a return to standard time.
Many of us would like to see an end to the twice annual time changes because of the negative impacts on physical and mental health. Yukon and Saskatchewan have permanent DST – while BC and Ontario have looked at the idea, but say the Americans would need to be onboard to make it work.

The official time change will occur at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 10, at which time clocks will move forward to 3 a.m.
