The 2024 Manitoba Summer Fair begins today (June 5th) until Sunday, June 9th at Brandon’s Keystone Centre grounds. Gates open at 4:00 this afternoon. This year’s Fair is presented by Heritage Co-op and promises fantastic food, family fun, unforgettable entertainment, and the thrill of the midway.
The Manitoba Summer Fair offers a diverse array of attractions for all ages. On-site general admission tickets are priced at $13 for adults and $10 for children aged 6 to 12. Children five and under enjoy complimentary entry.
“This year’s Fair promises to be one of the best ever,” says Manitoba Summer Fair Chair, Tim Rowan. “It’s always a great time to get out, hit the midway, enjoy the food, and have fun.”
In addition to the Midway, this year’s Fair boasts a Kids Entertainment Stage featuring a variety of attractions, including Doodles the Clown, Dr. Von Houligan’s Circus Show and a host of other exciting attractions. Attendees can also look forward to the return of the Summer Saloon in a new outdoor location, and the popular car display Chrome in the Trees.
This year’s schedule includes horse shows, wagon rides, and Breakfast Under the Dome, slated for Sunday, June 9th. Furthermore, the annual Westman Disability Day, scheduled for Thursday, June 6th from 1-3pm, offers complimentary entry to individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities, along with a delightful lunch provided by Heritage Co-op.

Additionally, fairgoers will have the unique opportunity to witness the final performances of the Big Metal Jaws. This act involves Dean escaping from a set of massive, razor-sharp metal jaws that are set to snap shut. The Big Metal Jaws act is retiring after this year, making these performances the last chance for audiences to experience this thrilling escape.
