On 2024-05-15, Brandon police received a report from a high school student that they were previously assaulted while in a school bathroom. Police say a 16-year-old male youth allegedly grabbed a 15-year-old male victim by the throat and instructed him to turn over his property, whereby the victim turned over a set of headphones. Suspect and the victim are known to each other and no injuries were sustained to the victim. On 2024-06-24, the suspect youth and guardian attended to BPS whereby the accused was released with conditions to appear in court 2024-09-10 for the charge of Robbery.

On the afternoon of 2024-06-24, police attended to the Brandon Correctional Centre to serve multiple warrants to a 33-year-old male inmate. The accused will appear in court 2024-06-25.

On the afternoon of 2024-06-24, Brandon police attended to a residence in the 2300 block of Brandon Avenue, after receiving a report that a male was at the location and violating a condition of his release. A 42-year-old male was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court 2024-06-24 for the charge of Breach of Undertaking.

On the afternoon of 2024-06-24, police attended to a residence in the 1000 block of 9th Street for a report of a female who was outside the home and causing a disturbance. Officers say a 64-year-old female was determined to be intoxicated by a drug and she was lodged at BPS until sober to prevent a continuance of nuisance to the public.
Breach of Peace
On the evening of 2024-06-24, Brandon police attended to an apartment building in the 200 block of 4th Street for a report a male that was causing a disturbance. Police say a 56-year-old male was determined to be intoxicated and was lodged at BPS until sober to prevent a continuance of nuisance to the public.
FTC Release Order
On the evening of 2024-06-24, police received a report of an unwanted male at a business within the Corral Centre. Officers say a check of police records revealed that the individual is bound by a court order to not attend the location. A 25-year-old male was lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-06-25 for the charge of Failure to Comply with Release Order.
FTC Undertaking
On the morning of 2024-06-25, Brandon police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 800 block of Princess Avenue. Police say a 29-year-old female was in violation of a court ordered curfew, in addition to having an outstanding warrant of arrest. The accused was lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-06-25.
Warrant
On 2024-06-25, police attended a residence in the 0 hundred block of 20th Street North for a report of a disturbance. Police say a 36-year-old male had an outstanding warrant of arrest. The accused was released with conditions to appear in court 2024-07-24.
