Appearance Notice
On July 2nd at 9:00AM while in the 800 block of Frederick Street on an unrelated matter, police located a 49-year-old female who had outstanding warrants for Fraud and Failure to Attend Court. She was arrested and later released with an Appearance Notice for court on September 9th, 2024.
Arrest Warrant
On July 2nd at 9:00AM while in the 800 block of Frederick Street on an unrelated matter, police located a 47-year-old male who had outstanding warrants for Breach of Release Order X2 and Failure to Attend Court. The male was arrested and held for court in the morning.
Theft/ Assaulting a Police Officer / Assault / Breach of Probation
On July 2nd at 3:50PM a 32-year-old female was witnessed stealing items from an establishment in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. Police attended and located the female matching the description. While being arrested she allegedly kicked a police officer in the leg, and later reportedly spat at both an officer and a Commissionaire. She was under an order not to attend the establishment from which she stole. Medical attention was not required for anyone. The female was held in custody with charges of Assaulting a Police Officer X2, Assault, Theft under $5000, and Breach of Probation. A court date of July 3rd has been set.
Drunk Driver
On July 2nd at 3:20PM police received a call that a female had been involved in a motor vehicle collision in the 1000 block of Richmond Avenue. She had left without providing particulars. Police located the 65-year-old woman and her vehicle several blocks away. Officers say she was found to be highly intoxicated and due to having no one to turn her over to she was lodged. Vehicle was towed and dog in her vehicle was taken into care. Upon sobering up she will be served suspension paperwork and can retrieve her dog.
Warrants Executed
On July 2nd at 8:00PM police conducted a persons check in the 900 block of Princess Avenue. It was confirmed the 19-year-old female had two endorsed Warrants of Arrest for Failure to Comply with Probation and Failure to Attend Court. She was released with an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 29th, 2024.
Warrant Executed
On July 3rd at 1:55AM police conducted a persons check in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. It was confirmed the 36-year-old male had Warrants of Arrest for Theft Under $5000, Mischief Under $5000, and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking. He was arrested and lodged for court.
Breach of Peace
On July 3rd a 3:30AM police received a call that two people were sitting on the roof of a building in the 400 block of Park Street. Members arrived on scene and located two 15-year-old males. One youth was turned over to his parents while the other, whom this was a second interaction with police, was lodged for the night and will be released in the morning.
