B&E / Arson / Mischief to Property / Possession of Weapon
On August 22nd a homeowner in the 100 block of 12th Street awoke to trees in his front yard cut down and could see a male walking around with an axe at the residence across the street. Police were informed and arrived on scene to see the male suspect exit an unoccupied residence. An officer noticed flickering of flames coming from the unoccupied residence. Police were able to arrest the 25-year-old male as well as quickly extinguish the flames (which was a burning pile of clothing). The male is held in custody and will attend court August 23rd, 2024.
Failure to Comply with Release Order
On August 23rd a 27-year-old male was arrested and charged with Failure to Comply with a Release Order as he breeched a no contact condition. The male was lodged and will attend court in the morning on August 24th, 2024.
B&E
On August 22nd an employee of a business in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue reported that on August 20th around 4:00PM a person entered the business from the back door and took items. Surveillance is being reviewed and the incident remains under investigation. Should you have information regarding this incident please contact police.

On August 22nd a business in the 1100 block of Rosser Avenue reports an attempted copper theft from their compound. Suspect gained entry through the northeast side of the compound. Should you have information regarding this incident please contact police.
Failure to Comply with Undertaking
On August 22nd at 11:18PM police spotted and arrested 36-year-old male who was known to be bound by a curfew. The male was sober and arrested without incident. He was lodged for court in the morning on August 23rd, 2024.
Failure to Comply with Undertaking / LGCCA Minor Consumption
On August 23rd at 4:12AM police received reports of an unconscious male lying in an alley between 9th and 10th street at Pacific Ave. Police attended and located an intoxicated 14-year-old male sleeping in the back lane. He was arrested and lodged for court in the morning on August 23rd, 2024.
