The Manitoba First Nations Police Service is asking for the public’s help in finding a man they say is connected to two separate incidents.
According to a release, police are looking for Chance Cordell Christopher Daniels, a 23-year-old man. Allegedly, on March 31, he was involved in an incident on Long Plain First Nation where three people were bear sprayed. Daniels faces three charges of assault with a weapon.
In addition, police say Daniels is wanted for aggravated assault, break and enter with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and being unlawfully in a dwelling. These charges come from an incident on April 24 in which a woman was stabbed and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police ask anyone with information about Daniels’ whereabouts to contact Long Plain First Nation Detachment at 204-252-4480 or MFNPS TIPS line anonymously at 1-833-978-0048 or email TIPS@mfnp.ca.
