Theft Under $5000
On October 7th at 3:14PM police were called to a store in the 1500 block of 1s Street regarding a shoplifter. Police located the 34-year-old female in the area who also had a warrant out for her arrest for Theft Under $5000. She was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of November 4th, 2024.
Arrest Warrant
On October 7th at 5:47PM police attended to the 100 block of McTavish Ave E where they arrested a 37-year-old female who was wanted on various warrants. She was brought to detention cells and will attend court in the morning on October 8th, 2024. Charges pending: Failure to Comply with Release OrderX2, Assault with a Weapon, Failure to Comply with Undertaking.
Arrest Warrant
On October 7th at 9:58PM police attended to Cornell Bay on an unrelated matter. While there a 23-year-old female with a Failure to Attend Prints warrant was located. She was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of November 25th, 2024.
Breach of Peace
On October 7th police had numerous calls regarding a 30-year-old male causing problems at various locations he attended. Police say a suspect was arrested, and will be held in detention cells until sober.
Being Unlawfully at Large / Fail to Comply with Release Order Condition
On Sunday, October 5th at 2:33AM police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle from Saskatchewan. An occupant in the vehicle was breaching a release order and wanted on a Saskatchewan Warrant. He appeared in court yesterday; October 7th as well he will attend this morning on October 8th. He is currently being held in custody.
