Two men and a woman from Ebb and Flow First Nation face drug and weapon-related charges after a traffic stop by Dauphin RCMP on October 18.
According to police, they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Main Street in Dauphin at about 4:00 PM. When an officer approached the vehicle and spoke with the three people inside, the officer noticed drug paraphernalia inside.
Officers arrested the driver, a 34-year-old man, along with the two passengers, a 46-year-old male and 39-year-old female, and secured them in the police vehicles. Police allege a search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 28 grams of cocaine, cash, bear spray, a machete and other drug-related paraphernalia.
The three accused were later released from police custody for a court appearance scheduled for November 28, 2024, in Dauphin where they will face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and for Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
Dauphin RCMP continue to investigate.
