Theft of Motor Vehicle
On October 31st at 8:53AM Police were called to the 600 block of Victoria Avenue for report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Upon arrival Police learned the involved pedestrian had alleged stolen the involved vehicle and fled the scene. The 26-year-old female was located a short time later and arrested for Theft of a Motor Vehicle. She was released to appear in court on December 24, 2024.
Arrest Warrant – Fail to Comply – Release Order
On October 31st Police noted a 37-year-old male in the 100 block of McTavish Avenue East. The male was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply – Release Order. He was arrested, held in detention cells, and will attend court this morning.
Arrest Warrant – Possession of a Controlled Substance/Fail to Attend Court
On October 31st Police noted a 44-year-old male in the 1000 block of Rosser Avenue. The male was wanted on outstanding charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Crystal Methamphetamine and Fail to Attend Court. He was arrested and released to attend court on November 28, 2024.
Theft Under $5000/Breach of Probation/Possession of a Controlled Substance/Possess Weapon Dangerous/Carry Concealed Weapon
On October 31st at 12:21PM a theft call came to BPS from a business in the 100 block of 5th Street. Police later located and arrested the intoxicated 26-year-old male suspect in the 000 block of 10th Street. Police say a search of the suspect allegedly turned up crystal methamphetamine as well as a machete. He was also bound by conditions to possess weapons. He was held in detention cells and will appear in court this morning on charges of Theft Under $5000, Breach of Probation, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Carry a Concealed Weapon.
Arrest Warrant – Theft Under $5000
On October 31st Police heard a disturbance coming from a residence in the 600 block of 9th Street. Further investigation revealed a male inside was allegedly causing problems. He was removed. A 37-year-old female was also located inside and was reportedly wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000. She was arrested and released to attend court on December 19, 2024.
RCMP Warrant Executed Assault/Fail to Attend Court/Fail to Attend Ident
On October 31st Police were called to a residence in the 500 block of Southern Avenue for a 34-year-old intoxicated male who was refusing to leave. Further investigation revealed the male was wanted on outstanding RCMP charges of Assault, Fail to Attend Court, and Fail to Attend Ident. He was held in detention cells to appear in court this morning.
Breach of Peace – Consumption of Liquor by a Minor
On November 1st at 12:03AM Police were called to the 300 block of Maryland Avenue for report of a disturbance. Upon arrival two intoxicated youth came to the door and were confrontational with Police. Unsuccessful attempts were made to locate a sober adult to turn the 17-year-olds over to. Both were held in detention cells to be released when sober with a Criminal Offence Notice – Consumption of Liquor by a Minor.

On November 1st at 1:15AM Police were called to an establishment in the 1100 block of 18th Street for two intoxicated and uncooperative males. Police located the 23-year-old and 24-year-old in the parking lot. Attempts to find a safe place for them to stay failed. They were held in detention cells to be released once sober.
