Environment Canada is warning that dense fog, reported over most of the Prairies Sunday evening, will continue into Monday (Dec 23) morning.
The fog will thin somewhat throughout the day Monday, but will likely persist in many areas and redevelop Monday evening.
There are some regions with good visibility within the fog advisory area, however, these are transient in nature.
Motorists should be prepared to deal with areas of near-zero visibility, even if conditions at the moment are good. In addition, the fog will likely lead to slippery driving conditions. Motorists should be prepared for this as well.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.
