Failure to Comply Release Order
On January 23rd at 9:00AM Probation Services reported a 36-year-old woman was currently at their office and wanted on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest. Police attended, she was arrested and held in detention cells for court.
Theft Under $5000
On January 23rd at 9:19AM police were called to a store in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue where a male reportedly stole $120 in meat. Through security footage the suspect was identified. The 37-year-old male was located by police and arrested in the 000 block of 7th Street at 9:53AM. He was released via an Undertaking with a court date of April 3rd, 2025.
Breach of Probation X3 / Failure to Attend Court X3
On January 23rd at 10:19AM police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue with a 48-year-old female. The female was arrested on the strength of a Warrant for Arrest and held in detention cells for court.
Failure to Comply Undertaking
On January 23rd at 11:42AM police located and arrested a 23-year-old male at his residence in the 000 block of 20th Street North on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest. The male was held in detention cells for court.
Failure to Comply Release Order
On January 23rd at 12:25PM police located and arrested a 29-year-old male at his residence on Willowdale Crescent. The male was later released on an Undertaking with a court date of February 20th, 2025.
Failure to Attend Prints
On January 23rd at 12:44PM police located and arrested a 57-year-old female in the 700 block of 10th Street on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest. She was later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of February 20th, 2025.
Assault with a Weapon /Breach of Probation / Utter Threats
On January 23rd at 1:38PM police, while at a residence in the 1500 block of 3rd street on other matters, located a 48-year-old woman who had a Warrant of Arrest. She was arrested and held in detention cells for court in the morning on January 24th, 2025.
Failure to Comply Probation
On January 23rd at 3:15PM police located and arrested a 35-year-old woman at her residence in the 1200 block of 10th Street. She was wanted on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest. She was held in detention cells for court in the morning on January 24th, 2025.
Resist Arrest / Flight While Pursued by Police Officer / Operation While Impaired / Operation with Equal to or Exceeding 80mgs%
On January 24th at 12:31AM a traffic stop was attempted with a vehicle near the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue with a suspected impaired driver. Vehicle initially pulled to the side but then continued southbound at approximately 50km/hour with no intention to stop. They continued to drive to the registered owner’s address in the 700 block of 10th Street. Driver exited vehicle and allegedly resisted arrest. Roadside ASD (Approved Screening Device) test resulted in failure. The driver also received a ticket for driving while suspended to do so. Breath tests resulted in an average reading of 95mgs%. A 30-year-old female was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of January 30th, 2025.
Theft of Motor Vehicle / Operation While Impaired / Operation with Equal to or Exceeding 80mgs% / Failure to Comply Undertaking X3
On January 24th at 2:04AM a traffic stop was initiated in the 100 block of 6th street with a suspected impaired driver. Operator, 26-year-old female, was suspended from operating a motor vehicle and failed roadside ASD. The female was driving the same vehicle that she had previously been charged for stealing from the registered owner on August 11th, 2024. She was on conditions not to operate the vehicle without the owner’s written consent or to attend within 100metres of his residence. Breath tests resulted in an average reading of 105mgs%. The female was held in detention cells for court in the morning on January 24th, 2025. Registered owner of the vehicle was contacted, and he attended BPS at 7:35AM to provide a statement this morning.
Breach of Peace
In the last 24 hours there were three separate Breach of Peace incidents where the involved party was arrested and held in detention cells to prevent further issues. They will each be released once sober.
