The City of Brandon advises that Patricia Avenue from 1st Street to 17th Street East is now closed.
The road has become soft with water pushing through the material causing unsafe road conditions and making it unfit for travel.
A detour is now in place along provincial road 110 (PTH110).
The duration of the closure is unknown; crews will monitor and reopen once conditions are safe to do so.
