Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants. One Warrant was executed on an inmate in Brandon Correctional Centre on behalf of an RCMP request. That 34-year-old male remained in custody at BCC and will attend court in the morning.
The other two individuals were released via Undertaking with future court dates.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On October 16th at 11:16 a.m. multiple calls were received regarding an intoxicated woman in the 600 block of Dennis Street. The female was located by police at a nearby establishment. To prevent further disturbance and for her wellbeing, the highly intoxicated 36-year-old female was arrested, brought to BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
Theft Under $5000
On October 16th at approximately 5:20 p.m., police responded to a report of shoplifting at a business in the 800 block of 18th Street. A 31-year-old male had been observed concealing items in his pants and leaving the store without paying. Officers located the suspect outside the store, in possession of approximately $41 worth of merchandise. He was arrested and later released on an Undertaking, with a court date scheduled for December 22, 2025.
