He sold his PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator at Goldin Auctions for just shy of $16.5-million after a 42 day auction that exploded with last-minute bids. To sweeten the pot, the winner also gets the diamond necklace Paul once wore to WrestleMania 38.
He originally snagged the card in 2021 by trading a lower graded version plus $4-million, meaning the deal likely netted him more than $8-million in profit. With only 39 of these cards ever made and just one carrying that perfect grade, the sale now stands as the most expensive trading card ever moved at auction.
