Nick Jonas is set to star in a new untitled Netflix romantic comedy directed by Ari Sandel, marking his latest move in an increasingly busy film career.
The story centers on a lifelong bachelor whose easygoing lifestyle is turned upside down after he unexpectedly becomes the guardian to his cousin’s baby, forcing him to become a dad ASAP.
But things get complicated when the child’s godmother reenters the picture during the holidays to claim custody. The project adds to a strong movie run for Jonas, who’s starring in the upcoming Paul Rudd comedy, “Power Ballad,” as well as the new holiday horror flick, “White Elephant.” Jonas is also set to reprise his role in this year’s “Jumanji 3” alongside Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart.
